Hello. Your story “Lessons Unplanned,” was so good. I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed reading it. The way you characterized each of the students with just a few sentences was so well done and something I would like to emulate in my own writing. I am an older (63 yo) MFA creative writing student at Sam Houston State University and stumbled across your story while doing a school assignment on lit journals. Your story really touched me and felt so real and so poignant. I loved it.
