Kindergarten Sous Chef

If I do no other good in this life, at least I have had a part in creating this one:

He didn’t want to speak because the onion fumes irritated his mouth–this in addition to his eyes and nose, but he didn’t have a “gaping maw” goggle on hand.

Since he’s certainly not getting off the hook as my kitchen helper, I guess we know what to get him next Christmas.

A mouth plug.

I like that voice – there are voiceover possibilities there.

I can’t say as I blame him on the onion and irritation thing. My daughter Mandy would tell him to run for his life is onions are involved in ANYTHING though! Considering his age, I think he did pretty darned good with the chopping. Maybe he does have a food prep future. Peace.

    Now that is preparation!

Next time save the poor little chap by keeping the onions in the fridge and then chop really quickly…..works for me.

Paco is an absolute masterpiece. Your kids ROCK! 🙂

I’ve been away from the blogosphere a long time and had to jump back in here first. I’m diggin’ the addition of video! It adds a whole extra layer of awesomeness and just makes me realize that I wish we had a Jocelyn in our neighborhood. Oh, and I would have voted for circles, btw, but they were both nice.

    Oh my heavenly tacos!
This made me giggle. I was so afraid he would lose a digit, but alas, he is a true master with the k-nife.

Onions – $.89/lb. Paco chopping – Priceless. The beauty is that, given your voluminous blogging, by the time he figures out that this is online for the world to see, there’s no way he’ll find it!
