Sounds like fun! Halloween doesn’t draw our grownup kids home, though, so despite the work involved, we do like the other holidays 🙂 So, how come we don’t get to see a picture of YOU in your costume?! And – wow – your son is looking like a younger version of your husband – what a strong resemblance!

I am so with you on Halloween being the best holiday. The best Halloweens are when I get to dress up and act a fool. If the opportunity doesn’t present itself, then I happily settle for handing out candy to those who are able to step out of themselves for the evening. I also love it when young teenagers come to the door, clearly having fun.

You do live in a great neighborhood for that holiday, too. I always enjoy Halloween. The whole town is out and interacting and every one is happy and having fun. What’s NOT to love? When I get to move, I plan to return to a neighborhood where I can fully enjoy it once more. seeing people move door to door, hand out little treats, maybe jello shots to the grown ups or hot cider…it’s hands-down the least pretentious and the friendliest of all holidays.
